Rules & Guidelines

effective April 2, 2021

Failure to follow the Campground rules can result in suspension from the park and having your membership revoked.  By accepting this document when presented at registration,

you agree to abide by the rules listed below.  Please read.

  • No one under 21 years of age is allowed in the campground.  Thank you for your understanding.

  • River Ridge Campground opens at 10 a.m. daily for Non-Seasonal members.

  • Tours are available only with advanced notice.

  • Photo ID required upon entering and a copy will be retained with your  membership file.

  • Public sex is prohibited in the common areas and around RV sites.

  • Due to some recent concerns...River Ridge Campground LLC has a new non-public sex policy. If we can see it, it's public. First time caught, 1 warning. 2nd occurence, permanent revocation of membership and you will be asked to leave the park without return. Weekend guests or Seasonal Perms. No exceptions.

  • We strive to make River Ridge a safe and fun environment for all guests. Be mindful that everyone differs on what is fun for them, so don't presume they would like what you like. So take it to Fort Licking Play area in private.

  • Please respect our fellow guests and Seasonal Perms.

  • All buildings are non-smoking.  Please use appropriate containers for your "butts" if you do smoke.

  • Please keep your speed down in the park to 5 mph.

  • We love our pets too but all pets must be leashed and picked up after.  Pets MUST be leashed for its owner to maintain control unless they are in an RV, tent, vehicle or a secured deck with a lockable gate and rail high enough to prevent the pet from being secured.  Pets should never be left unattended and if any pet is creating a disturbance or being with incessant barking, then unfortunately,  pet owner will be asked to remove the pet from the premises by management.  Pets are allowed in most areas of the park EXCEPT for the main LODGE building that houses the office, lounge, guest suite and showers/toilets and Club Rosey's and the water recreation area.  Pet owners are responsible for any and all damages/injuries by a pet while on the campground premises.  Pet owners who do not adhere to this policy will lost the privilege of having their pets accompany them on the premises.

  • Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. during the week and Midnight to 8 a.m. on the weekends.

  • Loud music is prohibited. There shall be no loud music after 10:00 PM.  Friday or Saturday nights we occasionally have a gathering or dance in Club Rosey's whereby music will conclude at Midnight.

  • Please respect our neighbors and their privacy.

  • The USE, POSSESSION OR SALES OF ILLEGAL DRUGS IS PROHIBITED.  ANY VIOLATERS WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE PARK AND THEIR MEMBERSHIP WILL BE REVOKED.  NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are using marijuana for medical purposes, please use it in the confines of your own lodging and you may be asked to show proof with your medical marijuana ID card.  *It is against Kentucky Commonwealth Law to use drugs of any sort within the confines of a commercial property.

  • Drink responsibly.  Everyone likes their preferred beverage but anyone causing a disturbance or being overly obnoxious will be escorted out of the park and is subject to having their membership revoked.

  • Disorderly or obnoxious behavior will not be tolerated. This includes inappropriate language, excessive drinking that leads to violent/abusive actions and/or vandalism. Quiet time is 10:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. on weekdays, (Sunday thru Thursday) and 12:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. on weekends, (Fri & Sat.)  Any behavior which is deemed violent, subversive, overly offensive or conversations from Seasonals towards our weekend guests or vice versa will result in immediate removal from the property and loss of membership and lease agreement will be null and void without any recourse or refund on balance of lease.  There is enough hostility in the world today so don't bring it to camp. Keep your personal issues outside the park.

  • We find that in todays divisive political world that the more prudent thing to do is to not discuss it, politics and religion that is.  Please for the sake of sanity and maintaining friendships, keep your political and religious views outside the gate and let the campground be a safe haven whereby we can all maintain peace and harmony amongst our guests, patrons and Seasonals.

  • NO EXCEPTIONS.  We desire a relaxed, safe and secure environment and any of this type of activity is prohibited.

  • Campfires are permitted on your site in the appropriate fire ring.  Do not leave them unattended.  If in the case of a Seasonal-Perm and you have been gathering at his campfire, upon his retiring for the evening, the site must be vacated and the campfire extinguished.

  • We want to keep the park groomed, maintained and presentable for other patrons coming in so please keep your own site neat and clean.  After one day of a written notice you may be asked to leave the park if not resolved.

  • All trash/garbage must be placed in the trashcans around the park or drop it off in the 6 yard dumpster in the front entrance.  DO NOT use the campfire rings for garbage!

  • River Ridge Campground, LLC is not responsible for any damage or loss to your own personal property for any reason.

  • No fireworks or weapons are allowed on the premises.

  • You will notice that we have many types of game animals at various times of the day in the area, whitetail deer, squirrels, rabbits, wild turkeys, hawks, bald eagles and coyotes.  Hunting is prohibited!

  • Your window tag that you received when you registered at the office must be displayed at all times in the vehicle.

  • We want everyone to be at their own comfort level here at RRC. We have the perfect balance between providing activities that keep the fun coming and quiet seclusion that lets you reset from the world outside.

  • River Ridge is a clothing optional campground & RV Park in most all areas except 30 feet from the the river's edge to be respectful of possible kayakers coming down river from Blue Lick State Park.

  • "Waiver and release of liability: As a campground member or Seasonal-Perm, you agree to the following release provisions: ('releasor' means-you, member and/or camper; 'releasee' means River Ridge Campground LLC, the owners thereof, managing members and/or any land owners leasing land to the campground.)"

  • Releasor does hereby further covenant and agree to indemnify, defend and hold Releasees, harmless of any from any all all claims, demands, losses, expenses, attorney's fees, causes of action, judgements, lawsuits, proceedings, damages and liability which are brought or claimed by anyone and which relate in any way to, or arise in any way from, the presence of Releasor in, on or around the River Ridge Campground and RV Park, or his or her participation in activity on the property, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.

  • Releasor assumes full responsibility for and risk of bodily injury, death or property damage due to negligence of Releasees or otherwise while in, on or around the River Ridge Campground and RV Park when participating in numerous activities especially in regards to, on or off the Licking River which is adjacent to the River Ridge Campground property and also the newly acquired 24.9 acre property which is located directly adjacent on the south side of the Campground.

  • Pictures of people and events are taken and posted on the website, or in informational or marketing brochures.  If you do not want your photo taken at anytime, please let management know ahead of the photo shoot and we will also will ask ahead of time whether anybody objects to their photo being taken.

  • Photography: In an effort to protect the privacy of all our members and in compliance with the Video Voyeurism Prevention Act (a U.S. law which provides imprisonment and/or fines for the capture of photographic or video images without the subject's consent), photography is prohibited without the express permission and knowledge of any and all subjects in the photograph.

  • There is NO photography allowed in areas of the campground where patrons might or will be unclothed, expressly but not limited to the water soaking tubs or pool.  If you are seen photographing random groups or "crowd shots", or if anyone reports to management that they have been photographed without their consent, you will be asked to turn over the photos and asked to leave the park and you will not be able to return for 90 days.

  • If you desire to spend time in the men's indoor lounge whether it be to watch programming ie. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Roka Channel on our flat screen TV or to have a hot cup of coffee and you are a naturist, please bring a towel to sit on any of the furniture.

  • Day campers must checkout by dusk otherwise they will be charged an overnite rate.

  • One vehicle is allowed per site, we do have overflow parking down the hill on the left towards the entrance of the park and will be marked accordingly.  Please do NOT park a vehicle on the perimeter road. If you are not sure where to park your vehicle, please ask at the office.

  • Since we are doing many upgrades and improvements over the next several years to River Ridge, we will have at various times, contractors coming in for estimates and or working on the premises.  With that in mind, those that are in their birthday suits need to adorn themselves with at least a pair of shorts or swim trunks until they leave.  Thanks for understanding.  Its important.

  • We as business owners and operators of RRC, want our patrons and guests to relax and enjoy themselves in the  great Kentucky outdoors here at the River. If there is anything we can assist in making your stay with us more comfortable, please let us know. Come see us, Craig or Matt, as we are on-site property owner- operators and reside here.
